I'm thinking about something like this but how would keep it from freezing in the winter

Sorry I haven't posted a material list yet. Still to come. As far as keeping it from freezing, I agree a fish tank heater may be a good solution depending on your climate. Here in the southeast we have mild winters. I'm hoping that because the water keg is insulated that it will not freeze as easy. I'm not sure yet how to keep the pipe from freezing. If I use pipe insulation I'm afraid my flock will just destroy it.
