Good M/A/E what ever the case may be! Thanks for having us.

We are a first generation homestead attempting to ground our boys in the core values and skills we feel they will need as adults. We are located in Central Kentucky among the Appalachian mountains.

Here to get into a more involved role with out flock and breed specific adventure. We currently have about 30 back yard breed chicks for eggs and pest control. Looking forward to seeing you all moving forward.

Hello and welcome to BYC! Glad you joined.
What are the two structures in your picture? Does your flock have a full size, predator proof coop for night time?

The structure on the left is a mobile coop for our first 10 chickens we got well if you know chicken math….. the necessity for the second much larger mobile coop on the right. We do not have a coop and our dogs do an amazing job. 2 years and lost 2 chickens total both to hawks but the dogs caught the hawk.
