That's good to know! Man, that makes me feel even worse about my hatch... They peeped for days >_< Well, lesson learned! My first 'real' hatch is going to be awesome, just because of all the stuff learned in threads like this one

Congratulations! I bet once she gets to moving around, the others will be wanting to come out quick.
 
Glad you suggested this! I was going to but am so new to the group.... Many parents with infants without any challenges are teaching their children basic sign language to communicate. The "experts" find that the children are calmer because they have a way to express that they are hungry, wet, etc. without crying etc. Parents are happier, too, because they can understand what their child needs without playing the "guess the sound" game.

My only g-daughter has Downs and they started that practically at birth. She's 12 now and still uses it at times. Great help.
