Vancouver island. Bc. Canada.
We have a single baby chick that was born and we brought it inside because the last time we had babies the hens trampled a bunch of them to death and I know it will be lonely inside but we are handling it and bringing it out a lot, it likes to cuddle up to our hands and seems to want to be held.

I’ve seen it drink at least once and gave it a little bit of scrambled eggs and we’re getting starter today.

its two days old I’m just wondering if there’s anything I can do to make her more comfortable( I know to not use a feather duster ) but anything that would’ve good?
I was thinking of doing something with the chicken feathers.

heat of course. A mirror, if you go to a dollar store, they may have a plastic toy that moves with light, I don't know what they are called, but I have seen a daisy that dances, they like movement. You may consider ordering a few chicks from Meyers, if you order before Nov. you can get a smaller amount, BUT ask for a heat packet.

Awesome thanks! I do have the heat lamp on 90-95 f I forgot to mention I’ll definitely hit up the dollar store
