[New chicken family]

Sammy and Gloria got to stare each other down for 2 days and now they are the best of friends!!!
The only tome they cry is when we take the other one out to hold it!

I bought my neice a blue silkie chick for her birthday and my mom got a buff silkie. I now wish I had bought myself a blue one it is so cute. Its a bearded one but the buff is non bearded it cute but not anywhere near as cute as the blue. Megan named her bluebell but I wanted to call her Disco. Because she looks like she has one of those big disco balls on top of her head.

I got 2 blue silkies in my order that I got today. I only ordered one but I guess my "packing chick" was the silkie. YEAH!

I had one of myplymouth partridge rocks die in transport but the rest are fine. I agree that a silkie is a good pen mate. I hope that your little leghorn and silkie grow up happy. got any pics of them?
