Single comb silkie roo?

I also have a silkie with a single comb and he's (I think it's a he) is 4 months old. Is he a mixed silkie? Weird, i got him from a farm. So, since he does have a single comb could he be a part of another breed?

Out of 8 babies I got one single comb. Six are 5 wks the other two are 4 wks. I'm sad I can't use "him" he is my favorite!!
