Single Comb Silkies??

Hey there,

I was just curious for input from chicken people. What are your thoughts on a single comb silkie?

I realize as far as the breed standard goes its a big NO... and yet single combs do appear in silkies in hatches. Would anyone be interested in single comb silkies? There are bearded and non-bearded, why not single combs?
They sure would be a lot easier to sex by their combs lol.

It's a recessive trait and most try to rid of their breeders which carry the recessive allele since it's not in the standard.
