Single duck

I just had one of my pekin drakes pass away suddenly and I currently have one pekin Drake who is now single. I am currently on a search for another duck but I don’t know when I will be able to locate one does anyone have any ideas on what I should do to make sure he doesn’t get lonely until then?

Try giving him a mirror so that he can talk to himself.

How old? You might try Craigslist in your area. You can also post on your state thread on here. As mentioned, a mirror won’t hurt.

Unfortunately I am still unable to find another duck and I do have friends that have ducks of their own but can not hold another do you guys think it’s a good idea if I just brought him over there sometimes for a social interaction or would it be too much to take him away after him seeing the other ducks
