I have two runner ducks currently. They are almost 2 and they are heavily bonded to each other. They’re a little scared of me, but I can tell they trust me a little bit. They imprinted mostly on my dog and my cats because they LOVE following them around. In the summer time, I’d love to get another duckling, but I don’t think I have the space for two more. I would like this one to imprint on me and also the two other girls I have. My plan would be to let her live in a box with a heat lamp, stuffed animals, and a mirror at night, but in the day I would be with her and let her meet my two ducks. I do independent study, so I would have all day to be with her. I raised the two ducklings before in my room in a similar way, but I didn’t spend enough time with them. If anyone thinks this is a bad idea, please tell me. I don’t want to give a duckling a bad life. Before I do anything, I want to make sure this will be okay. Thank you!

It doesn't sound like a good idea to me. You could look for call ducks or something, they're much smaller and then you could get two :)

I might also try to expand on my current pen. They’re mostly just running around my backyard or with my llamas in the front yard, but at night they live in a four chicken coop.
