Well, today we moved out of the storage bin and into a cage, since I walked in and found my chick perched up on the edge! My first thought was "how soon would it have taken for it to find it's way into the dog's mouth? I put plenty of perches in the new cage.

Here are some more shots, any guess as to the sex?

I like those waterers and feeders are they for parakeets?

Yes, it's normally what you'd stick on the side of a cage from the outside. Because I had a solid container, I just Gorilla glued them on to a plank of wood. I love it! No poop in the water! If I were to do it over again, I would put them on their own plank, it's a bit of a trick to fit them both on and flip.
