Birds have all been doing well this year until whatever is going on here. She just laid a clutch of eggs and I saw her nose has a bump on top, nostrils are clogged. What is the recommended treatment for this??? She is acting normally otherwise, eye looks normal too. They are kept separate from chickens. Really hoping this isn’t corzya or anything!! I can check other birds over tonight to see if they have symptoms too though... They were not happy with us grabbing her during the day.

Oh! Sorry about your peahen! Her nostrils probably need to be unclogged. Can you use a warm compress to try to soften the gunk in there so you can get it out? I’m tagging @casportpony and @KsKingBee for help bc I do not have peafowl experience.
Ended up using warm water, tweezers, and olive oil. Was not able to get it all in one (she got too hot pinned down under me while I worked because it was in the 90's outside) but the next night went back & got everything out I hope!

She is perfectly healthy, her only problem is the clogged nares. Spray with Vetricyn to soften and remove with a Q-Tip if you are so inclined. Be sure that your birds have deep water dishes to drink from, they will submerge their nares in water when they drink to help keep the nares clean and open.
Yes, ended up removing carefully with dull dentist's hook thing from the store & then sprayed with vetricyn because I had slightly nicked her the night before trying to use tweezers. Seems all cleared out now, will keep an eye on her.

Good deal! We can all breathe a little easier.
