Sinusitis? Or something else?

Good morning. I'm currently treating a 5 year old India Blue peacock for what I think is sinusitis. He was treated from 04/18/20-04/22/20 with Doxy-Tyl in a gallon of his own drinking water. Yesterday, I tried to get pus from the eye, but was unable to. I did clear quite a bit from his nose and he was started on Baytril 100 by mouth. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great!

Thanks you!! I've never given peafowl a SQ shot, only IM. Any tips would be great!

It is easiest to find a bare spot under the wing or just forward of the wing on the side of the breast where there are few feathers. Just apply the needle at an angle and watch the needle under the thin skin. Go about an inch then inject, when you exit put a finger on the spot where the needle entered and hold a little pressure to ensure the medication does not flow out.
