Sites that sell poultry

hello BYC! Simple question so I have been wanting to get a gosling for a really long time and I haven’t been able to find any places that sell them. I have a big R and tractor supply near me but they don’t sell goslings. I ordered eggs and they came rotten. I saw an app called mypetchicken.com and they seem good, but they’re not selling the breed I want(Embden). Does anyone know any other places or apps that sell goslings?

My experience with ducks from this place was good.. Live birds, sexed correctly, and the breeds they were supposed to be.

I’m not sure if you’d be able to find any Embden goslings this year. Geese lay a lot less eggs compared to ducks, and so hatcheries can only sell so many.

I’ve got an order for 2 geese coming from Metzer Farms this week. They’ve got great reviews and ship across the country. They still have African and Chinese geese, and a few of some other breeds, but no more Embden until next year.

Also, please if you do get geese, get at least 2… it’s very sad when people only get 1 goose. They like to have friends of their own kind and won’t do as well without. Many sites / places don’t let you order a single bird for this reason.

Hoover's has a minimum order of 8 next ship date June 25th. I've had good luck with Meyer Hatchery Embdens, but you'd have to give them your email address to be notified when they're back in stock. Same with Murry McMurry, and Cackle hatcheries.

Thank you but I don’t think I can get eight goslings. I already have eight ducks and there hard to handle. the other hatchery’s seem good though.
