It would be helpful if you had your location under your avatar picture.

Simple to do and really helps people help you. Just go to the top right where your "BYC name" is and click. A drop-down menu will take you to “Account Details”. If you put your location there it will always be under your picture.

Once we know that and can tell approximately what the temperatures are in your area we can help you better.

As long as it wasn’t too cold I think they’ll be fine. Although this isn’t your case, broodies (at least ours) will take a few hour break right before hatch so they can stay on the nest the entire time. What were the temps like while she was off the nest?

I would not give up on them yet but you do love in a cold climate. So as long as she's sitting, I would not disturb her. Sometimes they know when they are dead and push them out of the nest. Can you candle tomorrow?

Hello Chis492, Welcome to BYC. A newbie myself you are on the right Forum with many knowledgeable members who are more then willing to jump in and help you with your questions. Good luck and please keep us posted. Remember pictures are a great help also! :)

Yes sure I can candle and look for movement .fingers crossed .thanks so much for help

Around 8°c. Thanks for the help . Much appreciated
Hmm, so roughly 46*F (I don’t know how you got the degree symbol, lol). If she’s a good mama she should’ve covered up the eggs before leaving them and as long as they’re out of the wind I think they’ll be ok. If you can, candling would help. Let us know if you see movement and feel free to post some pictures (or a video if you feel like it).
