Around 8°c. Thanks for the help . Much appreciated
Wow, that's pretty cold for this time of year! I hope they'll be ok too. The ° degree symbol = option, shift and 8. At least it is on a mac.Hmm, so roughly 46*F (I don’t know how you got the degree symbol, lol). If she’s a good mama she should’ve covered up the eggs before leaving them and as long as they’re out of the wind I think they’ll be ok. If you can, candling would help. Let us know if you see movement and feel free to post some pictures (or a video if you feel like it).
Thanks, but I’m on iPhone. I looked it up though and all I have to do is press and hold on the ‘zero’, lol.Wow, that's pretty cold for this time of year! I hope they'll be ok too. The ° degree symbol = option, shift and 8. At least it is on a mac.

Hi all.I have a duck sitting on eggs for about 3 weeks. Today the door closed over in the wind to the house she had nested in and she was off her eggs for about 4 hours .she is back on them now but Will the chicks inside be dead already . First time with a nesting duck and would b very grateful for any information
I have muscovies, and last year when a friend was duck sitting she accidentally collected an egg from my sitting duck (who was sitting on 13). I was horrified and asked her to bring it back, and the next day we put it back into the nest. Later, when the 13 hatched, every single egg hatched. So I think that if the temperature drops, the process is slowed, and picks up when the temp rises, provided it doesn't get too low. So - worth a try to keep things going. If the eggs go bad they may turn visibly dark.Hi all.I have a duck sitting on eggs for about 3 weeks. It would be helpful if you had your location under your avatar picture.
Simple to do and really helps people help you. Just go to the top right where your "BYC name" is and click. A drop-down menu will take you to “Account Details”. If you put your location there it will always be under your picture.
Once we know that and can tell approximately what the temperatures are in your area we can help you better.
