Sitting Hen

My hen has been sitting on her eggs for about 2 weeks. It appears everyday she gets up for a little while and walks around the pen area. While she's out, her feahters are fluffed and she is making a low clucking sound. She has water and food in her laying hutch. It has been hot (between 85 - 90 degrees). Is this normal? I don't recall my other hen doing this when she was sitting? Thanks

Do you mean "setting"?

That sounds normal. All the broody hens I've had acted like that.

Mine did the same thing when she came off the nest for a little bit. She is a bantam and would even run my roo off if he came to close to her. She looked like a little fluffy sumo wrestler walking around.
