sitting hen

My cochin hen laid 5 eggs then started sitting 2 days ago.she has only moved once a day to eat drink poop and have a dust bath.today is her 3rd day and when she came off her nest i checked her eggs and low and behold there were 6 in there.i know for sure that only 5 were in there yesterday.theres no chance of another hen laying it as i only have 10 week old chicks and they are in there own coop all the time.she is definatley broody but why has she laid another ehg?

Should be she running with a cockerel and ive seen them mateing numerous times a day .

In that case, I'd mark the eggs that are under her now in case for some reason she continues to lay so you can remove the new ones to prevent a staggered hatch.
