Sitting in dark places

I have a chick that has not laid any eggs for month now, is that
common? Also the last couple of days she has not come out of
the coop, she usually is the first one. Is she sick, how do I find out?
I am really worried about her.

how old is she
what breed
how long was she laying before she stopped
what are you feeding
have there been any changes in your flock lately

First off, you should find out if you have an avian vet in the area.

Second, you should check her vent to see if it's oozing or has any obvious anomalies.

Is her abdomen swollen more than normal? Is it taut?

Have you noticed any odd poo? What are you feeding her, what supplements, and how old is she? What are your other bids like? Are they the same age?

How are her feathers? Did she lose any for a while?

This will help us figure out what's going on.
