My girls have been laying regularly since Easter. But now, 1 of them spends all her time in the egg box but she hasn't layed any eggs for 3 days now. Is something wrong with her?

She probably wants some eggs to hatch out.

But there aren't any eggs. Will she stop on her own and begin laying again?

What kind of chicken is she? Some hens will set on nothing. Silkies will set on nothing or anything.

she's broody (when they sit on the eggs) get here some fertile eggs to hatch!

I think she's a game chicken. She's black with some red on her body. I just have tw chickens. If she's broody, will her sister start trying to hatch eggs as well?

 

[terry the teacher]

I don't have any fertile eggs for my chicken that wants to be a mommy but what if I went to the local feed and seed and bought her some babies?
