My six week old lavender and blue Orpington chicks are feathering up quite differently. 2 have tails while the two I suspect might be roos due to ever so slightly larger and pinker combs have almost no tail at this stage. Is this a thing? I've already culled two that sprouted big red wattles last week so I'm just not sure if these ones are also boys?
First two pics are suspected roo, while the third is one of the (hopefully) pullets

Here's the other tailed bird (hopefully a pullet?)

And the only blue left. Tail is starting to come in but until today it was looking more like the tail-less bird

Orpington are "late bloomers" I'd wait until they're at least 8wks. The first set of pictures #2 looking cockerel but I'm no expert. They look to be lavenders not blues, are they your hatches? Pretty, LOVE Orpingtons & someday want some Lavenders. Have had Blacks, Blues, Buffs but no Lavenders yet :fl

EDITED: Ok the first two sets are Lavenders, your Blue is in the latest set. I'd wait another 2wks before culling, re post pics. It's been said Pullets develop feathering faster than Cockerels. Cockerels develop larger combs/wattles & it's redder than Pullets. As the Cockerels mature they develop hackle & saddle feathering while Pullets don't & neck/base of tail feathering rounded. I'd wait ...

Orpingtons are slower to mature, so you probably need to wait two weeks more for these. BUT, #'s 1 and 2 are probably cockerels, definitely number two. The third doesn't look suspicious, but that could change in time.
Number four looks like a cockerel.
Number five looks like a cockerel.
Note: people ten to really go for Lavender, and blue birds. I suggest letting the cockerels grow up, instead of culling them, and sell them.
