I have two turkeys about 11 weeks old. The BBWhite appears to be a tom and is twice the size of the BBBronze, which I think is a hen. They share a pen and have plenty of feeder space so I assume both are eating as much as they want. Their pen-mate recently died after becoming lame and immobile but there was no other sign of illness or weakness in any of them.
Is there normally that much size difference between hens and toms, or between BBWhite and BBBronze?
Also, at what age would you typically process BBWhite or Bronze?
Thanks for any help.
