I realize the hen has to lay down…and they do lay down on the roosts also (we have wider boards as roosts…2x8’s)...so I was just wondering if nighttime would also be an issue. Thank you.Thank you. Yes..I was thinking I would use the temporary privacy fences…the fabric ones that people use for their pool areas. They would hang nicely on the pen walls…like I use on my chicken pens to keep the wind out of the pen Floor areas.
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
