size for breeder pens

im going to build some smaller pens for no more than 4 chickens, a roo and a couple hens. i have a few flocks so ill have to rotate free rangeing, so they wont get out everyday unless i find it easy to lock them up and rotate throughout the day. how big should i have them? im figuring a wall feeder to save space, and build the nestbox outside of it to save space too. thanks

I wouldn't go smaller than 4x10 runs and 4x4 coops. Or 10 sq ft per bird outside, 4 in.

i wont be putting runs on the pens, just nice open airy coop/pens and free rangeing as much as im able to, prob every other day or every three days
