Size for winter coop

Hi were doing the plans to build a winter coop (we get down consistently -30 C with weeks going to -40).
We have 6 chickens (with a possible two if they are healthy to integrate)

What would be better? An 8x8x8 coop or 6x6? We would also attach a run although I'd think it would be smaller than what they have now but not sure of size?
