I have a few bantam polish hens and roos in diff. colors, and I would say they are average size bantams. I have on bantam hen that is very "tiny" compared to the others, but they are all reasonably small.

Over the weekend I saw a little bantam roo and hen and the roo was extremely small. Very cute!

My question is I guess, how does the range of bantam sizing work? When is it large fowl, when is it bantam? I have read the differnt weights, but the scale I use for myself in the house is digital, and would not register them.

Does anyone have pics comparing the size?

The only bantam polish I've ever seen are the white crested black polish. We've had some of those last year but this year in order to get other colors we got the standards. The are still supposed to be on the small side.

I have a pair of bantam wc chocolates as well as a bantam wc black hen.

There is a big range in size from the smallest to largest bantam breed--even if you exclude the as yet unrecognised seramas.

I would say bantam polish are a bit larger than mid-range of the bantam sizes.

That is what I thought too, but I have on hen that is extra tiny, and then I saw a roo and hen over the weekend at a friends house who were both very very tiny as well...so I am just a bit confused! lol
