I have a sizzle chick that is a few months old that now has a head tilt? What would cause this?I would think injury? No signs on her of any?Any advice would be great!

Can you explain what you mean by a head tilt?
Anything else going on with her?
How long has she had this?

I wonder if it could be wry neck, but that may only affect younger birds. hopefully someone with more experience will write something.

She is holding her head tilted to the side she wont even hop out into the coop yard? She just stays inside the coop andshe has no other symptoms. I will go see if I can get a good picture? Thanks!

I wondered this myself-Silkies are prone to wry neck and I just wasn't sure what was meant by "head tilt".

I will get one a little later. Thanks

I had a bird with wry neck, but she was pretty young. maybe 2-3 weeks old. we gave her poly-vi-sol, vitamin E and vitamin B complex mixture twice a day and massaged her neck. she was back to normal in about a week. i wouldn't know if you have to do anything different with an older bird.

Sorry it took so long I h to take my kids to music lessons! Here are a few pictures of her!It was hard to get a good picture since she is frizzle!

I don't know much about wry neck I will have to read up on it? Will it go away on it's own or does she need special care? Is she in much discomfort?
