Sizzles!!!

Now see I always thought the sizzles were frizzled silkies like the pictures above, I have had plenty of chicks from my momma frizzle and silkie roo but never called them sizzles unless they were frizzled silkie feathers, mainly seen in the flight featehrs where they are frizzled curling backwards like frizzle feathers do...

The frizzles above look so adorable! Love the splashes!!

Actually Sizzles do not have Silkie feathers, but have regular hard feathers. Frizzled Silkies can come from the same breeding but that is just what they are, Frizzled Silkies.

As you continue breeding the Sizzles you will only breed the smooth offspring to the Frizzled birds but only those with hard feathers. You can introduce a pure Silkie back into the breeding to improve traits where they are needed.

I am breeding my birds to the Silkie Standard except for feathering. Much like the showgirls, there needs to be multiple generations where birds can be bred to like birds and the offspring will be hatched with predictable characteristics.

She ran into my laying hen's pen and they started pecking at her and stoping her until she bled to death. Its kinda sad. I hope she wins though! I and her soul depend on it.
