Skin blemishes/scabs

Just took my first set of birds to be processed. Things went pretty smoothly, but some of the carcasses have what looks like skin blemishes or scabs. The birds were generally healthy, but old (8 months). We caponized them and just let them grow. The guy who processed them didn't say anything was amiss, but I thought I'd check.

Could have been anything really.

I would cut out the blemishes and eat the rest.
