I need help. This silkie is 4 months old and has a TON of pin feathers. I noticed a mild mite problem 2 months ago and treated my six chickens and coop with elector PSP twice. I have found 2 mites on my skin since then when I clean the coop.i can not see any mites on my chickens but I am assuming they must have a mild case of them. Now this silkie seems to have extra dry scaly skin. Should I retreat for mites or treat as a fungus? Or do both?

It just looks dry to me.
You can try putting some sticky tape wrapped around the ends of your roosts with the sticky side out, overnight, see if you get any mites caught on it. Some mites will hide in the coop and only come out at night to feed on the birds while they are roosting.
