Ebony let me touch her today, which is unusual. Her keel is super prominent. How do I put weight on a duck that is currently laying eggs every day?

Last time I found one of my Ducks was thinner than she should be. I gave her dewormer treatment and she got better. You can use safeguard if you need dosage information let me know

Yes you can use the safeguard 10% horse paste

weigh your duck and use a 1ml syringe with no needle attached . If she’s 4 pounds she gets almost the full 1ml syringe. Most of my ducks are about 5 pounds so I put the rest in a second syringe. Here’s instructions

By the way, also watch her to make sure she’s actually eating because if she’s not eating any food, she won’t last very long unless you tube feed her

She’s eating with gusto still, so hopefully we won’t have to tube feed her. Thanks for the safeguard instructions!
