Idk what these two are and I've always been curious. They're both the same age and from a feed store. Edit: They both lay white eggs!

Strange! I would wonder if they're Leghorn mixes with the earlobes and the dominant white on the first. Were they from a hatchery? Since they're laying white eggs, I would even wonder if their pea comb is coming from gamefowl genetics

They were from a feed store! I'm sure the store had their breeds listed but at the time I didn't really notice it 🥲

(egg picture because I can't actually tell if their white or a very light blue)

Place them on a white sheet of printer paper in strong outside light. They look blue to me. I changed my egg carton color to be white so that my blue eggs would show up when I sell them/give them to people.

Maybe we need to start saying light blue-to-blue for Whitings. I have two that lay nice blue eggs, sometimes almost a light Tiffany blue, and one that lays blue tinted eggs. Mine are just under two years old and are giving me large to x-large eggs consistently after their molt. Impressive breed, but I'm not expecting them to be too long-lived.
