Skunk At My House

It was night time, and we hadn't shut out two ducks into the coop yet. The have a nest inside the coop. All of a sudden we heard them flapping there wings. So my parents and I run up there and peek inside the coop and there is a skunk in the nest, he dropped the egg and ran off. Could the skunk be a risk to my ducks and chickens? Is there anyway to prevent skunks from coming around them?

Skunks can, and will kill chickens and ducks.

Close your coop up earlier, that skunk will be back.

You may end up having to figure out a way to trap it out or just shoot it.
