SL Wyandotte Gender Help

Here is Winnie, 8 weeks old, who is either a VERY aggressive pullet or is showing another quality??? It doesn't help that I don't know how much pecking should be involved in their establishing a pecking order...
What do you think? She was sold as a sexed pullet.

SLW's are hard to sex. At 8 weeks I would tend to say roo, but I had people saying roo to my pullets here two years ago. Good luck

Yes, Winnie had a very pronounced and red comb area when quite young, but I had read that it was common with this breed, but now I don't know!!

I'd say roo.....my slw pullets don't have any red in their combs until much older.

Are you sure it's just 8 weeks? It looks older.

Thanks for posting the pics - its helpful to compare. I have one SLW that has yellow comb, but the other's comb is twice as wide and pink, but not as red as my other roo's and not as large as one the one you posted photo of. So I can have hope!
