Hello again,

I have got two hens, one, called Snowflake, is perfectly fine with being picked up. The other, princess layer (note the Star Wars pun!

) does not like being picked up, she is fine with just being stroked while she is standing some where or eating, but she despises being picked up, so she has developed a strange thing. If I go to touch her with one hand, she stands still and is fine, but if i look like I'm going to pick her up, she " Slaps" me on the hand with one wing. Has anyone else experienced this before, or know how to stop it, I just don't want her to do it to everyone else. She is laying and everything perfectly fine but this is the only problem

They are both tamer than many people's chickens ever get -- tamer than any of mine. Personally, I would be glad I had one I could pick up, and for the other one, look at it as her way of stating a preference to be petted only.
