Sleeping beauty

So i have a baby chick that just stands around and peeps now and then. It keeps its eyes closed as if shes always sleeping. I felt the crop and it feels as if shes been eating and drinking but ive never seen anything like this. I brought her home from tractor supply about a week ago and ive noticed in the last few days that shes doing this. Ive tried to look througg the othe post in hopes of finding something but no luck. Is she just tired? Or could she be sick? Any help my fellow byc owners

Since you just got her from TS just last week, check it’s vent (butt) she could have a pasty butt. If she does, clean it up with warm wet towel making sure she doesn’t get hurt by pulling the dried droppings. Hope you’ll find out the problem soon.

I did and she doesnt have pasty butt .she will get up and move away from the heat lamp and like i said at some point eat and drink but im not sure why she is so sleepy like this she keeps her eyes closed unless i pick her up
