They're super cute! Just wanted to add, be careful with those types of lamps in the cold. They get extremely hot and can actually explode if moisture/ice/anything cold hits them.

It was freezing here, 29f and my bulb was fine. no exploding and the chickeis were great. Idk what brand you use thog7

I have my brooder plate but they’ve outgrown it. I suppose I could raise it on something.
I’d imagine they’d use it if they have to/it’s that cold?
