Had my chicks outside today again. Not sure of the age, they are almost completely feathered. Anyways, 6 of the chicks followed me around the yard for a couple of hours while 2 of the chicks slept the whole time, my kids came home from school and played with them and still the other 2 just slept. We would pick them up and move them to another spot, they would just plop down and go back to sleep. Is this normal????? Doesn't seem normal, I've never seen them do this before and it scares me that there may be something wrong with them. What scares me worse is that there may be something wrong and they pass it to the others!!

Are they eating and drinking as the others do? I wouldn't worry too much about it. The next time you take them out, they will probably be the ones playing and the other 6 will be laying around sleeping.

No they were no eating or drinking, that's what got me upset. Even when I brought them in they just kept on sleeping no eating or drinking still.
