I have several hideaways on the ground in my aviary as well as a wooden coop of sorts. Chukars when I had them seemed to like the upside down black planter the most. They would also roost on the roof of the coop. Just be creative in your design to give them somewhere to escape the elementsI have read that chukars will not use a coop like structure and that they tend to perch in circles, so what type of housing do you offer for them to sleep in? I won’t be keeping them on wire they will be outside in an aviary on the ground.
