I built a hoop style chicken tractor with pvc pipe, chicken wire, and a tarp. Some of the chicken wire has begun to sag between some of the "ribs" making what looks like little hammocks on top. At the end of the days when they get to free range & stretch their wings, each evening my chickens are found all snuggled together on top of the tractor in their newfound "hammock" area. I pick them up, one by one, (there's 9 hens & a rooster...about 2 months old) and place them in their coop. I hate disturbing them, because I can tell they're all warm, and comfy, and snuggly
.
What I was wondering, has anyone ever used cargo netting in their coop for their chickens to roost in like a community hammock?
