Sleeping "hammock- style"?

I built a hoop style chicken tractor with pvc pipe, chicken wire, and a tarp. Some of the chicken wire has begun to sag between some of the "ribs" making what looks like little hammocks on top. At the end of the days when they get to free range & stretch their wings, each evening my chickens are found all snuggled together on top of the tractor in their newfound "hammock" area. I pick them up, one by one, (there's 9 hens & a rooster...about 2 months old) and place them in their coop. I hate disturbing them, because I can tell they're all warm, and comfy, and snuggly 😁.
What I was wondering, has anyone ever used cargo netting in their coop for their chickens to roost in like a community hammock?

Interesting idea. I think it would become poop covered in short order though, so what about cleaning?

The cargo net is washable, and I'd have a backup hammock for "laundry day". Just like when a child won't give up their favorite 'blankie' so it could be washed. I'm still thinking though 🤔

They probably are up there because it's the highest they can get.
Might need to put something up there so they cannot roost there.
Do you have roosts in the hoop coop?
Hoping your not living somewhere it snows.

I wouldn’t put up hammock, they can get tangled in it. Like Aart said they are probably up there out of necessity not choice as it’s the highest area off the ground or they get preoccupied and it gets to dark to find their way inside or its too dark in there with the tarp at dusk. My chicks that young follow the older ones in at dusk.
