Sleeping in box !

I get home late from work and my baby chicks all keep sleeping in small box I keep their gravel and scratch in ! It's kinda cute ! I need to find something better they will sleep in or on !

Where is their coop in relation to the box?

Chicks like to gather together to sleep when young. If you put some type of roost (it can be only 1 foot off the ground to start) they will get interested in it and roost some during the day. When they are older they will begin to use the roost at night as well. It's just a chicken thing!

Mine slept in a box for a while after I put them out in the big girl coop. And then, they found the roost and they all fight over spaces.
