sleeping in nest boxes

My 15 week old chickens (11 of them) are sleeping in their (4) nest boxes. Is this a problem? It just seems odd.

The problem is that they will poop in there and that wil eventually result in dirty eggs. If the nest boxes are higher than the roosts, I would recommend raising the roosts. Block the nest boxes until they start using the roosts.

X2. Or, lower the nesting boxes. Your birds are approaching Point of Lay. This is not a good time to develop this sleeping in nest habit and a good time to break it.
