How many chickens do you have? Are any of them using the roost you have set up?

I had to redo the roosts in our coop so that they were higher than the nesting boxes. They would roost and sleep in the boxes because they were higher than the actual roosts.

I also moved the nesting boxes away from the roosts. Now I don’t have issues with them sleeping in the nesting boxes. Maybe move your roosts away from your nesting boxes a bit.

Your roosts look fairly narrow. My chickens love to snuggle all together and get cozy. So maybe make a longer roost so more of your chickens can fit next to each other & make them higher than the nesting boxes. :)

Here is my opinion and observation, and reasoning. Nice setup BTW, and your location is suited for such.
Nesting boxes look inviting since they give a feel of security and are relatively high off the ground. If they were 12 inches off the ground, that would be less ideal for roosting, but ideal for laying.
Your roosting ladder and roosting branch do not look like ideally configured. I know my banties would like the high branch, but my other LF would hesitate navigating their way up to there.
I would try a 2"x4"x8' flat side attached to back wall at the upper left corner of nesting bank and outward,,,,, level toward the front. Support front however you can. Use the branch ladder midsection to provide an EZ access to roost.
Do you move this tractor around your property, or is it stationary permanently???
How many chickens and type do you have???
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and :welcome

I have 5 rhode island red hens & a pair of ee's In the coop right now...also have 1 cross chick I hatched from those above & 4 blue laced wyandottes about a month old & 3 more chicks that just hatched out this week... 15 in all, planning on putting them all together when the chicks grow out. Coop stays In one spot, had a smaller coop but got tired of moving it...

Interesting coop. Would you post some more pictures and give dimensions?
I'm just curios.
Quick search of 'topics started' by OP came up with this:

@Ppswampman add a longer roost, higher than nests. Here's how I did the roost on my hoop coop, easy to install and remove:

You still may have to cover the nests for 'training':
I rigged a permanent hinged cover for ease of use, and it's always there if I need it.
Cover down an hour before roost time, open back up when I lock up after dark.

Sheet was 16' long, had to cut 4' off, but used those pieces at the bottom down the sides, can' t remember how wide, but used 3 sheets for the project

The recommended amount of run space is 10 square foot per bird, you ware way under that. Are they going to free range and only use that for sleeping or are they confined to that size typically? You could have other issues to worry about.
