Hi y’all,

My 4 new backyard chickens who have been together since hatching are about at the age of egg laying and they currently sleep huddled together in one nesting box. I have been going out every night and putting them up on the roost to show them where it is.

should I be concerned? Or will this behavior self correct once they start laying? Any help would be great :-)

Welcome!
Please post pictures of the inside of your coop.

No, it will not.
It's best to cure this habit before egg laying time comes near.
Roost should be higher than nests, block nests off until they start using roost.
