Sleeping in the nest box?

Tonight I when out to the chickens and caught them laying around in the nest box... the roosts are right next too the box as well
They're about 13 or 14 weeks old now, so they're too young to be practising laying eggs
I don't know why they're in there together maybe they're just cold?
here is a picture of their coop-ey area

this is when they first moved in which is why it's so neat and tidy
but you can see their roosts and nest box and practically just one big room, is this a problem?
 
Dont worry, our two flocks have a coop similar to yours. Four of our chickens sleep in the nesting boxes. I believe the reason they do this is for extra warmth. If they are new another reason they might be doing this is t familiarize themselves with their new environment. Hope this helps :)

it is very cold right now
we're in the middle of winter in Australia
I think I will put some saw dust in there to add a little extra warmth for them :)
