Sleeping place

Our five week old chicks still sleep on the floor of their coop like, well, little chicks. Is this normal?

It seems to vary, some of my chicks roosted early and others were around 4 months old before they started roosting. I did try the trick of moving them from the ground to the roost after dark, it seemed more stress to them than it was worth, now I am just letting them figure it out in their own time.
