I can't believe I have waited so long to join BYC. I am up way too early because of some seriously crazy wind out there and it landed my on backyard chickens. I am looking forward to becoming an active member. I have 7 hens and 1 unknown breed of bantam rooster. Since getting them 3 years ago I have become a full on "bird nerd". My next project is Quail! But first we will likely get one or two more hens to replace our recent passing of our rhode island red.

1 bantam rooster, belgian d'uccle and who knows what!
1 plymoth barred rock
1 bantam golden sebright
1 americauna
1 cuckoo marans
2 blue splash modern game bantams
1 sexlink (i think) she flew into our backyard from who knows where as a very young bird and has been here ever since.
yes, a chicken just flew into our backyard.
