Sleeps on side?

Does any one else have chickens that sleep like this? Sometimes she will be walking around the yard and decided she want to rest and sort of tips over. She is the laziest of my three girls.

She is basking in the sun. All chickens do this.

That's what I was hoping. I haven't seen my other two hens do this, except for when they are rolling around in the dirt. Someone told me she might be sick, but I believe she is just lazy lol @suebee

Ha! On bright sunny days one in my flock will lay down to "sun bathe" and the rest will follow. Kind of like a bunch of bowling pins. Strike!

I freaked out the first time my girls did this. Now all 6 of them will plop down in the sun like this.
