Sleepy babe!

We have a 10 week old silver duck wing bantam that sleeps all the time! Really - my husband sits down to feed them, she jumps up in his lap and falls asleep. I also notice her nodding off out in the yard while everyone else is busy foraging or taking dust baths. Is this something we should be worried about - or do bantams just sleep more than their bigger sisters?

How cute!!!! I have no idea if this is an issue because I have never had ducks that were WILLING to jump in my lap.

There might be an underlying health issue, next time she jumps in hubbies lap, take a real close look.

I'll check - she eats well, is drinking and is out in the yard with the rest of the crew. What should I look for? Any ideas? She is totally hand trained - no problems picking her up and checking her out. She is quite amazing.
