Hi,
My 2 lakenvelders seem sleepy. They don't always lie down and go to sleep, it's just that as they are standing there, their eyes close and their heads drop a little, then they seem to wake and go about their business. They will be eating, doze like that, wake up and continue eating. It's been a week. I asked at the feed store for coccidiosis meds, in case it was that but they don't carry it. Do you think it sounds like it? I put a little tetracycline in their water for the first couple of days, but nothing changed. I have 2 other chickens 2 weeks younger, a dominique hen and a black orpington rooster in with them and they aren't doing this.
Thanks!
Lisa
