i just noticed all my 9 month old hens have a more pronounced on the right of their chests- they all look like this. They are actively laying right now and have been for the past month and otherwise acting alright - they eat alot. Is there something i should know?

Thats great! If they had stayed full overnight, then that could be a sign of a problem, so its good to keep an eye on them. In the evening they should be nice and full, and then completely empty in the morning.
